Ensuring that your home is fully insulated is one of the most effective steps you can take to reduce your energy usage and fuel bills.

Having both your loft and external walls insulated can be much easier - and much cheaper - than many expect and the results could produce savings of over £300 a year on your heating bills. You can also cut your carbon footprint by more than 1.5 tonnes a year!

We teamed up with Energylink Ltd to give you the chance to apply for a free or heavily-discounted insulation grant for your home.

FREE loft and wall insulation is available to anyone over 70 years old or in receipt of certain benefits, tax credits or allowances. Others can receive a grant to cover up to 50-70% of the cost.
