Imagine if we could all contact our gas, electricity and water suppliers and just tell them that we don’t want their bills anymore because we’re doing our bit for the environment. Well, we can – in a way.
While the chances of getting your bills cancelled altogether are fairly slim, you can at least ditch the traditional paper billing in favour of managing your billing in a paperless way via an online service. As well as reducing the amount of paper posted through your letterbox each month/quarter, many companies now offer a discount off your bill for switching to an online billing account.
