Submitted by pypanthmst on Fri, 29/02/2008 - 11:21.one thing no one has mentioned if a thermas flask
l take mine with me when l go anywere at night with a couple of raw eggs(ln shell) fill up with boiling water and the next morning you have hard boiled eggs
this tip can also be used at home so when you boil your water for a late night drink you can use the rest
l also use the flask to make a noodle meal just add a pkt of noodles some dried veg and a tin of tuna to give you a hot meal in the car
slow cooking pasta
I have to admit being inspired to try my own little experiment after reading your post, pypanthmst.
I left some spaghetti in boiling water overnight. Sadly I think the principle doesn't extend as it came out pasty and powdery.
All worthwhile, thought, in the name of cutting resource consumption and I'll definitely use the tip on the eggs!
